A Pie Thing with Worthy Book Experience

Love trying out new places but don't know where to find them? Love exploring new places but worrying about the thinning of your wallet? Fret not because The Worthy Book 2015/2016 has got you covered!

I am constantly on the hunt for new food and amazing hangout place, so I was more than overjoyed when I stumbled upon the latest Worthy Book which features 44 brands of restaurants and F&B franchises in Malaysia. And what's even better it that these vouchers of more than 100 pieces could be redeemed in over 100 Shopping Malls across Malaysia!

When I got my hands on this book, I couldn't help myself from flipping through each and every page again and again, analyzing what to eat and when to eat. But one place that I had put on my priority list to try out has got to be A Pie Thing. I have seen way too many pictures of mouthwatering pies featuring this cafe from my countless instagram feed, so seeing this place being featured in The Worthy Book, I instantly took that as a sign and  headed down to the place immediately on the next day.

We used both the buy 1 free 1 vouchers occupying the first two rows and boy was it a good deal!
P.S. Had I not have lactose intolerant, that FREE Green Tea Latte would've ended up in my tummy too.

The shop isn't too hard to find even during night time. It's quietly nestled in the industrial area of Sunway, but strategically located at the front row make searching for this place hassle-free.

This place adopted the some-what industrial interior design,
using mainly black and grey.
You could see cemented table tops and cemented walls,
which scream rustic but simplicity.
This theme fits perfectly with its surroundings- the industrial area.
One of the Sweet Pie, we picked; Peanut Butter Brownie Pie
Hoorrayyyy to Chocolate and Peanut Butter lovers!
*Look at that chocolate oozing out from the crust*

Taaa Dahhh! My favourite of all! Salted Caramel Cheese Pie (RM12.50)
(Trust me, this is Da Bomb!)
The rather salty crunchy almonds topping orchestrated well with the sweet and soft caramel.
It was especially delicious when you eat it with the buttery crust,
the combination was perfect.

We have also picked up two savoury pies for our growling stomach.
Left: Chicken Mushroom Pie
Right: Christmas Special Pie (RM16.90)

All thanks to these awesome deals,
D's sister who is battling with her finals,
gets to relish in delicious pies
while refueling her exhausting brain juice.

Whilst you might think that this is just your another ordinary chicken pie,
taking one bite will blow your mind.
The crust is exceptionally fragrant and buttery; thick but did not lose its crispiness.
The filling did not turn the pie soggy.
Chicken was tender and juicy while mushrooms were huge and flavourful.

*D's writing*
BEHOLD! Their X'mas Special Pie. It's topped with their home-made mashed potatoes.
What made their mashed potatoes unique was the blend of fruit jam with their gravy.
Salty yet sweet, not what you would have expected.
The fillings were made up of spinach, smoked turkey ham, chestnuts,
jumbled up with the help of a carbonara-alike sauce.

Though the portion that looks rather small was ostensibly filling. We were all stuffed at the end of the meal and we even had to takeaway one of the sweet pies.
